You probably thought that by the simple virtue of going natural, your hair was going to go from TWA to prosperity in under a year, or at least 2 years (tops), right?
Instead, your hair seems to have a mind of its own!
Every natural, be they the “lazy” type who likes to keep things relatively simple or the “too-many-steps-to-be-a-wash-and-go” type… Both these naturalists have one thing in common;
They know that without hydration, healthy natural hair is simply a dream. So, no
matter your texture, curl pattern or length, as a smart naturalist, you always try to keep your hair happy and hydrated.
BUT
What if no matter what you try and how much time and money you dedicate to this goal, your hair is breaking off?
You always end up wondering:
“Why is my natural hair so dry and brittle?”
It’s Your Porosity, Darling
“Porosity…” What does that even mean?
Porosity simply means what it sounds like: “How porous your hair is.”
For example, high porosity hair lets go of moisture in 45 minutes to an hour. No matter how much product you use, you’ll never get hydrated hair it seems.
Whereas, low porosity hair is hair that receives ample moisture, but still seems brittle and dry due to excessive product build up.
If you have high porosity hair—your saving grace will be sealing in the moisture (from your preferred water based leave-in conditioner) using creams and butters.
If you have low porosity hair, then you need to clarify your hair. You might have product build-up.
For low porosity hair, use a clarifying shampoo once a week, or simply do an apple cider vinegar rinse (if you prefer conditioner washing, aka co-washing).
Follow this up with some Luxju Nourishing Hair Crème and enjoy hydrated hair for longer without needing to re-moisturize for at least two days.
High porosity hair would also benefit from the hair creme as it has been specifically formulated to ensure that your hair stays moisturized for longer.
Luxju crème’s ingredients adhere to the Leave-in, Oil, Cream (LOC) method without the need for other products. Simply follow your Leave-in conditioner with the hair crème and you’ll immediately notice defined curls (including 4C pattern) and softer hair for longer.
One of the key ingredients—Jojoba oil has been combined with other humectants ensuring that Luxju Nourishing Hair Crème not only imitates your scalp’s natural sebum, but it also attracts other moisture particles in the air to your hair.
Instead of juggling 5 different products in order to nourish your hair, introduce
Luxju Nourishing Hair Crème to your hair care regimen and note the biggest change since deciding to go natural.

Since hair loss is a polygenetic problem, you should know that if you are losing out your hair, then it is not the fault of your parents. There are a diverse number of internal and external factors that can lead you to the disastrous problem that we all reckon as hair loss.

Nikki, we agree there are a number of different factors that cause hair loss. And likewise, dry and brittle hair can be as a result of different factors.
